The University of Utah is located in Salt Lake City and has around 35,000 students total. Situated in the eastern portion of the city, the campus is near fantastic outdoor areas such as national parks. If you love the outdoors, you're going to love it here. About 93% of all students live off campus and enjoy every minute of it. Parking is tough on campus but the TRAX, a light rail line, runs right through the campus and the bus system is very good too.

Once in your University of Utah apartment, you'll quickly work out the best places to eat in your neighborhood. If you're near campus, the most popular spots for quick meals are Pie Pizzeria and B & D's Burgers where prices are low and quality is high. Just west of the University, East Street has a slew of places so if you take the TRAX to 4th Street, you'll find a huge concentration of choices.

Because Salt Lake City is half Mormon, you'll find that bars and clubs are a little different here. Oh, there's partying especially on Greek Row. Many clubs charge a small membership fee, but you'll work out how to get around those. Kilby Court has good music, Urban Lounge and Burt's Tiki are good for punk rock, and you'll want to go downtown to check out Liquid Joe's and Area 51.
