Life Outside of UT
The Campus Oasis is the absolute #1 favorite place to eat off campus among the students of UT. One of the great features about this place is that it accepts payment from Rocket Card, which has each student’s meal plan stored in it already. The Oasis is also right on the edge of campus, so the location is ideal for students. Public transportation around campus and in the city of Toledo is prevalent. There are shuttle buses that will take you anywhere you need to be for your classes, but most of the distances are pretty walkable. If you’re going out into the city at night, do not rely solely on the city’s buses. Make sure you have a ride, but don’t let this prevent you from checking out many of Toledo’s great nightclubs. Notable Student: Kid Cudi studied film for a year at UT before dropping out.
