Is Albuquerque a town where I'll need a car to get around?
Albuquerque has a great public bus service. Very modern and extensive. But like most of New Mexico, things can be very spread out so most people want to have a car. You could get by without one but don't get in a big hurry.

My 27 year old son is moving to Albuquerque and looking for a nice apartment in a young professional neighborhood. Need recommendations. Heard Nob Hill and EDo district nice. Safe and nice. Any help?
Nob Hill is a nice place to live. It is near the University of New Mexico and about four miles from Downtown Albuquerque. The shops, restaurants, bars and galleries draw visitors from all parts of the city. It is a good place for young professionals in Albuquerque to live safely but still enjoy citylife.

What's a good neighborhood for families in Albuquerque?
Since crime is a big factor in Albuquerque, finding a safe neighborhood for your family is paramount. The top five safest neighborhoods in Albuquerque are: Paseo del Norte Blvd / Browning St, Sandia Heights, Herrera, Tramway Blvd / Indian School Rd, and Coors Blvd / Montano Road. In particular, the intersection of Academy Blvd and Eubank Blvd is very close to the mountains, easy to navigate, and close to restaurants and grocery stores--and, best of all, it's very safe and family oriented. Some zip codes to consider are 87111, 87113, 87107, 87109, and 87110.
