University of California, Irvine Off Campus Apartments
Ready for an Apartment near UCI?
I heard it through the “Irvine” that UC Irvine is a fabulous place to go to school, and to rent off-campus apartments!
Through the Irvine
Smokey Robinson and the Miracles may have sang, I heard it Through the Grapevine, but here in Southern California, we say “through the Irvine”! (Okay, maybe it’s just me.) Things you hear through the Irvine tend to specifically be about the school. For example, you might hear whispers about this UC’s top-rated professors, or you might hear about the sixteen different schools that are offered within the college. You might also hear rumors about research that will someday change the world, or about clubs, organizations, and IM teams that students can get involved in. Of course, you can’t believe everything you hear through the grapevine, but anything coming through the Irvine you can take as fact! When an anteater is a school’s mascot, you know the school has got to be a truthful one! Not sure why anteater equals truthfulness, but it just seems to…
Apartments through the Irvine
Besides hearing about the many academic accomplishments of Irvine through the Irvine, one might also pick up snippets about how awesome Irvine is as a place. Though a car is pretty much a requirement to explore surrounding areas, 64% of Irvine’s undergraduate population lives off-campus and find that there is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping areas, and outside of Irvine is Disneyland (omgomgomgomgomgomgomg), San Diego, Huntington Beach, and LA! Renting an apartment around UC Irvine is easy. How do I know this? Because I heard it through the Irvine, duh. For help learning how to search for a place check out our apartment search guides!
Nightlife through the Irvine
If you go to Irvine and do not have an annual pass to Disneyland, you are making a dire mistake. I realize not everyone enjoys the happiest place on Earth, and that not everyone loves fun, so for the people not spending all of their time at Disneyland, there are things like Anthill Pub and Grille, yummy sushi at Taiko at 14775 Jeffrey Road, or The Balcony Grill and Bar at 2710 Alton Pkwy. Well now you have heard it through the Irvine: UC Irvine is the best, and renting an off-campus apartment makes it even better!
