How is the nightlife in Denton?
As a city of about 120,000 people and home to University of North Texas, Denton, has its fair share of watering holes. One of the best places to get a drink in town is in the Fry Street area, which features a high concentration of bars. As long as it is not in a glass container, it is legal to consume alcohol on the street here until 2:30 am. In addition, the Arts and Jazz Fest takes place every spring in Denton, bringing over 200,000 people per year for live music, food, drink, crafts, and recreation at the Civic Center Park.

Denton is a very pet-friendly city. Denton is home to one off-leash dog park, Wiggly Field Dog Park, which is located at Lake Forest Park.
