Many renowned private schools also reside within the vicinity including St. Francis de Sales School, Las Vegas Day School, American Heritage Academy, and Mountain View Lutheran School, amongst others.

    McCarran International Airport is the closest major airport to downtown Las Vegas, about a seven-mile drive with a round-trip cost of around $5. Many other smaller local airports are within 25 miles including North Las Vegas Airport, Henderson Airport, Henderson Sky Harbor, and Boulder City Municipal Airport.
