    Fresno is accommodating for dogs! There are three city run dog parks sprinkled around town, and on weekends it's fun to take them for long runs and hikes in the Sierra National Forest. There are several great areas that are easily accessed from Fresno.

    Although most people in Fresno use cars to get around, there is a decent public transportation system. Fresno bus routes cover most of the city on streets located at half-mile intervals, although routes can be be as far as one mile apart in some areas. In addition to general coverage, route frequency can be an issue. Fresno's bus routes have varying frequencies depending upon the route. During the day they come between every 15 or 30 minutes, but they come less frequently in the evening, and night service ends at 10 pm.
