MyNewPlace Enhances RentEngine Posting and Syndication Functionality

Listing Builder Provides Fast, Flexible, Differentiated Postings

San Francisco – June 15, 2010 – MyNewPlace, one of the multifamily industry’s leading Internet Listing Sites, today announces new updates to RentEngine, its integrated posting tool and syndication service, including a new Listing Builder and tracking dashboard with in-depth trending reports. These enhancements enable greater optimization of a property’s listing strategy, delivering detailed information about each post, its title, when it was posted, what template was used and the response garnered to establish online marketing best practices at each community.

Listing Builder offers hundreds of customizable design combinations with embedded, editable content forms to enhance listing flexibility and optimize response rates for each posting. On-site staff can now select from various themes highlighting specials, pet friendliness, location features, property amenities or holiday promotions and further customize the design to match the community’s existing marketing materials. By enabling the quick creation of attractive postings with appealing content, these enhancements not only save administrative time and costs but improve the efficiency of the on-site staff.

“RentEngine was designed to put leading-edge tools in the hands of on-site staff by focusing on ease of use, streamlined work-flow and services featuring hassle-free set-up, training, and telephone support,” said Steve Pollock, vice president of product management for MyNewPlace. “We understand on-site staff members are very busy and we are dedicated to building powerful products to enhance their productivity.”

To further streamline the posting process, RentEngine now features a posting title manager and an updated posting assistant. The posting title manager allows users to quickly create and save appealing listing titles and easily reuse them for future postings. With the assistant, postings can be easily copied and pasted into needed fields for any listing site, including Craigslist. This interface speeds up the posting process and reduces errors while remaining in full compliance with individual Web site rules.

The updated RentEngine dashboard provides a more robust snapshot of listing performance. Users can easily discern how many leads are being generated from the more than 100 syndicated sites and listing sites such as Craigslist. Additionally, the dashboard details the most recent listing posted and indicates when it can be reposted.

RentEngine users also benefit from comprehensive trended lead reporting. The reports now combine lead results for syndication and posting sites, providing detailed information about each lead including the source that generated it. Listings and leads can be viewed
across an entire portfolio or be drilled down to the individual property level including daily posting activities of each on-site professional.
