Join the MyNewPlace team as a Regional Account Manager! This is an ideal opportunity for a successful, consultative sales professional to join the fastest-growing apartment rental website that is founded by industry veterans, well capitalized, and backed by a leading Silicon Valley venture firm and some of the biggest names in the apartment industry.
Role and Responsibilities:
The RAM will be responsible for exceeding monthly sales quotas by building and managing a portfolio of apartment management companies within a geographical territory. These activities will include:
- Developing a portfolio of apartment management companies by prospecting and selling MyNewPlace solutions to new targeted clients in your territory
- Managing and retain existing client relationships in partnership with Client Services. Grow existing client revenue by selling additional products into client base such as Featured Properties, Photos, Videos and future online marketing products.
- Participate in all sales activities to prospect new clients and represent MYNEWPLACE in the territory including industry events, tradeshows and client visits.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a college degree and a minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in a high growth setting with at least 1 year selling online classifieds or advertising. Sales Experience to the Apartment (Multifamily Housing) Industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will also possess the following experience/traits:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A proven record of developing relationships and closing new business within the Apartment Industry or similar classifieds/online advertising experience
- Self-motivated, team player, willingness to adapt to changing products and technology
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel within geographic territory
- Excellent Salesforce, PPT and Excel skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive base salary, commission program, and significant equity upside in the form of option grants on a four year vesting schedule.
