Enjoy a Movie Under t

Throughout the summer, Yucaipa hosts a "Movies in the Park" series. Each Wednesday in June and July, a huge 16-foot screen is blown up in one of Yucaipa's parks. People of all ages then gather to watch a family-friendly film just as the sun sets. The event is always free to attend, but you do need to bring your own chairs or blankets. You can also feel free to pack a picnic and bring your own drinks. The movies typically start around 7:30, but make sure to get there early to stake out the best spot.

Enjoy the Great Outdo

This over 200-acre park is the best place for those looking to have fun in the sun. Yucaipa Regional Park offers a wide range of outdoor recreation, such as fishing, swimming, pedal boats, camping, picnicking, and more. The park has three freshwater lakes: Lake Gregory, Moabi, and Calico. It also has some of the most gorgeous views of the San Bernardino Mountains. This makes it the most popular destination throughout the year for Yucaipa residents. So, enjoy a day in the great outdoors and bask in the beauty of Mount San Gorgonio at Yucaipa Regional Park.

The festival also features many other family-friendly events, from 80 arts and crafts vendors to a children's play area complete with rock climbing wall, making it is easy for every member of the family to find something to do. The Iris Fest has been held annually for over 10 years and lasts for three days each May.
