Education in Woodridg
The educational system in Woodridge is one of the largest in the area. There are five different elementary schools and one junior high school. There is no high school in Woodridge, as the kids attend the high schools in either Downers Grove North or South. You will also find Westwood College campus located in Woodridge for those who would like to go on to a higher education. The very first elementary school ever built in Woodridge, back in 1959, is still in use today. This lends an air of history to the educational system in this small city.

In a time where there are fewer libraries, the library in Woodridge has much to offer all residents. The library was opened on June 14, 1969 in a small house that was bought with donated funds. The library now offers Wifi, digital books, eReaders, audiobooks, and DVDs. You can attend community events and clubs at the library, such as the Library Needlers and Dream Interpretations. The library is not your run of the mill library, full of dust and silence. This library is thriving and exciting for everyone who enters its doors.
