The park is equipped baseball and soccer fields, along with a volleyball courts. Picnic grounds and pavilions are also available so guests can relax after a long day of play. If you just hope to take in the scenery of the area, be sure to stop in at the Bear Creek Nature Trail. The trail runs parallel to Bear Creek and has two small bridges and picnic tables.
Fitness gurus in Winter Springs can sign up for Camp Gladiator for an experience to remember. The camp hosts a dynamic program created by American Gladiator Grand Champion Ally Davidson. The four-week boot camp caters to men and women of all ages and it provides a motivating environment in which you can work to improve your physical fitness in many areas. Some of the activities of the camp are centered around interval training, plyometrics, strength training, and cardio. Camp Gladiator is the ideal way to challenge yourself while becoming educated in benefits of physical fitness.
Fesitval of the Arts
Each year, Winter Springs is home to the Annual Winter Springs Festival of the Arts. The event takes place in the town center during an October weekend and will give visitors a cultural and artistic experience to remember. Over 125 artists have their works on exhibit, with local and professional musicians performing at scheduled times. Food vendors and local businesses also offer items for purchase so that you have everything you need to spend the day taking in the unique, yet beautiful artwork. Wine tasting stations and children’s areas are set up throughout the festival as well.
