    Winooski isn't home to any famous museums or exhibitions. Located only a few miles northeast of Burlington, however, Winooski residents can easily enjoy the neighboring city's many museums. These include the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum, Chittenden County Historical Society and Museum, Echo Lake Aquarium and Science Center, and the Fleming Museum at the University of Vermont. Winooski is also home to the 1885 building of Ohavi Zedek, one of the oldest synagogue buildings still standing in the United States.
