Fans of the outdoors will always have something to enjoy in West Bend at the various parks located throughout the area. A paved riverwalk runs throughout the city so you can get an up close view of the Milwaukee River. Walkers, bikers, and skaters can all take advantage of the trail. Regner Park offers its own trail for hiking and also plays home to baseball fields, a swimming pool, and a beach. If you want to entertain the little ones, stop by Quass Creek Park with its abundance of playgrounds, picnic areas, and numerous ball fields.
Spend the evening at the University of Wisconsin Center-Washing County and take in a wonderful performance. The center is an excellent place to experience both the culture and education of the city. Throughout the year Broadway-style plays, musicals, and other events are produced for you to enjoy. You can also find special kids' events on a regular basis. For a little cultural education, the center also offers language, art, and music classes. Take some time and listen to the wonderful music that the Kettle Moraine Symphony Orchestra or the River City Irregulars have to offer.
