Each year the city of Webster Groves comes together to celebrate and involve the community. Webster Groves Community Days is a four-day event that takes place during the month of July. A wide range of activities is featured including a parade, a barbecue, and a beauty pageant. The locally funded festival is also home to a family night where games and other kid-friendly options are found. Carnival rides and a large firework display can also be enjoyed so there is something for everyone. Spend just one day or come back again for more fun and entertainment.
Parks and Preserves
Webster Groves is home to 17 parks and many open areas. This provides you with a place to go for a day of relaxation or play. Ivory Crockett Park, located on Bell Avenue is home to basketball courts, playgrounds, and ball fields. This beautiful park is named after Ivory Crockett who was the world’s fastest man at one time. Memorial Park features a large recreation complex, an ice arena, and an aquatic center. Ball fields and tennis courts can also be found at this park. To get an up close view at nature, stop by the Frederick S. Plant Park and Wildlife Sanctuary.
St. Louis Repertory T
For an unforgettable experience, take in a show at the St. Louis Repertory Theater in Webster Groves. The theater was founded in 1966 and has featured many famous performances, including productions classic plays like “Of Mice and Men.” A wide array of theater productions is created throughout the year so you can attend your favorite. Special events take place here from time to time, including the St. Louis Food and Wine Experience. If you are interested in becoming part of the show, the theater offers lessons and auditions for both youth and adults.
