Restaurants in Wayne
Wayne has plenty of restaurants for you to choose from when you want to dine out. Many are casual, affordable, and family-friendly establishments, with diners, cafes, and Italian-style pizzerias constituting most of the options you will find. Nevertheless, there are also several options for the adventurous, such as Xilantro, an upscale Mexican restaurant, or Hana Japanese. O-Toro combines these options to provide the best of both worlds, as they serve sushi and tapas, and the establishment provides a good bar atmosphere where you can enjoy drinks with your meal. This restaurant also has late night specials on the weekends.
If you want some fresh air, love the outdoors, and do not want to go too far, Radnor Trail is a prime route to do so. With one end starting at Conestoga Road, it is a 2.4 mile long paved path that runs along the houses and communities of Radnor Township, making it a perfect walk, biking, or hiking destination that does not require a drive out of town. Since it is right in town, it doubles up as a great bike commute to work or a place to walk your dog when s/he is itching to get out of the house.
Wayne Art Center
Wayne Art Center was established in 1930 and has one of the most comprehensive sites in the area for outreach, exhibition, and education. It has long served the community by providing a space to view and learn about the visual, performance, and culinary arts, as well as to discover its relevance to your everyday life. It offers summer camps that are attended by youth from around the Radnor Township and greater Philadelphia area, making it a great place for your young ones to branch out and meet more friends than they have in school.
