Devil's Den State Par

To the north of Van Buren lies one of the largest state parks in the area, and home to some gorgeous terraced waterfalls. Devil’s Den State Park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps starting in 1933, and today covers more than 2,500 acres of protected land. It is actually the largest sandstone crevice area in the United States, and has some spectacular views of numerous caves, bluffs, ravines, and outcroppings throughout the park. People from nearby towns love to load up the truck, grab some buddies and a cooler of beers, and head to the park for some good old-fashioned great outdoors.

Beef, It's What's fo

Being in the South, you might be given a second look if you tell people you are a vegetarian. Arkansas is home to some great cattle grazing area, and, as such, they have some of the best and most affordable beef on the market. If meat is your thing, make sure you stop by Big Jake’s Cattle Company and order up a massive 32-ounce porterhouse steak. If you can finish it all, they will put your picture on the wall with the rest of the champions. Rick’s Ribhouse nearby is also a popular go to spot for locals to get their grub on.
