Catering is provided in-house; the club is well-staffed with folks who can help you plan your small private in the club's restaurant, "The House," or your 200 person event in the 7,000 square foot club house. If you have always wanted to learn or improve your golf game, the Club offers lessons for players of different skill levels and seven indoor hitting bays for practice on your own.

A Place for Schools

Despite its small population, University Park has a combined total of three elementary and middle schools right in town. Coretta Scott King Magnet and Crete-Monee Middle Schools are public options; Deer Creek Christian School is a private school option. Students can also learn through the Chicago Virtual Charter School, which has online curricula for students in grades K-12. This school has been given a top rating on the Great Schools website (http://www.greatschools.org/illinois/university-park/schools/?gradeLevels=h). In addition, there are two institutions of higher learning for college goers, the Governors State University, which is right in town, and Prairie State College, which is nearby in Chicago Heights.
