Local Parks

If you are looking to spend a relaxing day outdoors, stop by the Town Center Park. Located on Buford Highway, the park is home to the majority of the community’s events. With an amphitheater that holds 1,000 guests, the park is ideal for concerts and other types of performances. Town Center Park is also home to a large interactive fountain referred to as “Big Splash.” If a family outing is on your list, a visit to Playtown Suwanee is in order. The large playground was built by community volunteers and features many areas for children to enjoy.

Suwanee Day

Each year the town sets aside a day for residents of the community to engage in fun and entertainment. The day, known as Suwanee Day, features activities and performances that will delight the entire family. Runners can participate in the Suwanee Day Classic 5K and/or 10K races, while the little ones spend the day playing on the rides and inflatables. Performances are also part of the event and range in genre and style. To get local business involved, vendors are set up throughout the festival to promote goods and services. Food and gifts are available for purchase as well.
