Bellview Park

Bellview Park is often the park of choice for most residents when they have a desire to get outside to enjoy the day. The primary reason for this is just how much there is to do here. Many folks enjoy simply coming out and relaxing with a nice picnic or perhaps catching a little league game or two. On those hot days of summer, you have the option of taking a refreshing dip in the public pool or maybe hit a few balls on the tennis court, as Bellview Park has a little something for everyone.

Fort Steuben

Fort Steuben is an intricate part of Steubenville’s history. The original fort was inside the area that now makes up present day Steubenville. Built in 1787, the fort was in service to protect government officials who were surveying area. Reconstructed in its original location, Fort Steuben continues to stand guard from its vantage point on the Ohio River. Visitors will experience a true sense of history from the tours offered here. The tours are quite informative and kids love the idea of being in an actual fort. This historic location is definitely a worthwhile family outing.
