  • What's a good neighborhood for families in South Jordan?

It depends on what you're looking for. Most of South Jordan is fairly safe; compared to other communities of similar population size, South Jordan's crime rate is noticeably lower than the average. However, between the city center and the area due west near Bangerter Highway, the latter is safer. Not really. Public education is primarily provided by Jordan Public Schools, which consists of 100 schools serving over 85,000 students. This district was rated better than 30.0 percent of school districts in Utah and 43.7 percent of school districts in the country. In addition, South Jordan is home to Paradigm public charter high school and three private schools (American Heritage, Mountain Heritage Academy and Stillwater Academy).
