Music

Seneca offers busy schedule of events throughout the year for both children and adults. The Seneca Fest held in each May at the Gignilliat Community Center features some of the most popular country music stars around. Jazz on the Alley is another popular music event that takes place each week during the warmer months of the year. This jazz fest is a favorite among locals that come together to listen to some of the best jazz musicians the country has to offer. People gather at Ram Cat Alley and relax while enjoying food and drink available from the many vendors that set up shop.

Education

If you have young children, schooling is always an important factor to consider wherever you live. Seneca offers seven elementary schools, four of which are public, and three being private. The public Northside Elementary School achieves high attainment scores, particularly in English the social sciences. Clemson University is located only six miles outside of Seneca. This university is divided into five different colleges that cover subjects including Behavioral Sciences, Architecture, and Engineering and Science. Seneca residents come out in droves to support the Tigers for football and basketball game through the colder months of the year.
