Water, Water Everywhere

With the Gulf of Mexico on the western edge of town and the inlets of Tampa Bay all around, there aren’t many places in Seminole, Florida where you can’t see sparkling sunlight reflecting in the soft waves of the sea. Apartment renters who are looking for a friendly town with easy access to both beaches and busy Tampa should definitely consider renting an apartment in this town. With only around 11,000 residents, it’s not hard to meet the neighbors and feel like you’re a part of something special. And though it isn’t a huge city, it’s a socially active one that organizes a multitude of vacations, events, classes, and celebrations throughout the year.

An Apartment for Every Budget

Whatever you’re looking for, from a high-rise penthouse with a view of the Gulf of Mexico to a downtown studio with a price tag that will let you finally get off that ramen noodle diet, there’s an apartment to fit your needs in Seminole. Renters should be sure to shop around for the best apartments they can afford since there is such a wide range.

Never far from the Ocean

There’s no shortage of beachfront property in Seminole. Renters who are afraid of salt water should definitely look for lodging elsewhere because there’s just no getting away from it in this town. Fortunately for those who find a day at the beach to be, well, a day at the beach, there are dozens of beaches within a quick drive (or in some cases, a quick walk) of your new apartment. The calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico make for great swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and ocean kayaking. Though this side of the state rarely sees outrageous waves, a few beaches regularly get small swells that are the perfect ride for beginner or casual surfers. There’s no beating a lazy day of lying under the sun in the white sand, either. Just make sure to bring a good pair of sunglasses.

Party Like It’s Seminole

It may not be an enormous city, but Seminole parties like it is. Renters can head to the parks or downtown to take advantage of dozens of special events held throughout the year. There are dances, athletic events, concerts, hauntings (that’s right, the good people of Seminole organize a couple of mean haunted houses—come ready to scream), celebrations for the kids and parties that have gone to the dogs (such as the Doggie Derby). No matter what your scene, you won’t have any trouble finding at least a few events to enjoy in Seminole. In between city-wide parties, renters should be sure to get together with their neighbors for BBQs on the beach or nights out in town.

Big Day Out

With so much to do right in town, renters from Seminole will never have any trouble staying entertained. Though this is an active city by any measure, it’s not a wild city. Renters move here to enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean and to relax in their quiet seaside apartments after another long day of work or play. There are always those occasions, however, when a little wild partying is in order. For these times, renters can make the short drive into Tampa. This city is filled to the brim with daytime and nighttime excitement. There are museums, amusement parks, sporting events, live performances, and dance clubs that keep the party going all night long. If you’re looking for a wild night out with the friends, there’s nothing quite like a visit to the big city. Of course, when the party’s over, there’s also nothing quite like returning to your sanctuary by the beach.

Getting in on All the Fun

The city of Seminole has one of the most active recreation departments around. Renters looking for something to do should pick up a brochure or program and pick out a few cool classes to try. Kids and adults of all ages can join sports teams, learn to dance, take an art class, and get in on the game in a gaming club. The city also organizes trips to nearby casinos (not for the kids), museums (for some of the kids), and sporting events. With so much going on in and around town, newcomers will feel at home in Seminole as soon as they start unpacking.
