ZDT

The littlest members of your family will be delighted with a trip to the ZDT's Amusement Park. The park is family-owned, but serves up big company values. With 12 different rides including the Parachute Drop and the Dizzy Toucan, you can put your bravery to the test. During the hot summer months, ZDT offers a water park so that you and the family can cool down after a long day of play. Max Starcke Park

Take a day and enjoy the natural beauty that Seguin has to offer by visiting Max Starcke Park. The park spans over 227 acres and offers a variety of activities for the entire family. An 18-hole golf course and fishing areas are available for the bigger kids, while the little ones can enjoy the wave pool and playgrounds. Picnic areas are also available making the park ideal for your next gathering or party. Once you leave the park, stop by the Saffold Dam that gives you an up close look at a hydroelectric water plant.

Historic Downtown

Take a walk through the historic downtown area of Seguin and get a glimpse of the culture and history of the area. The downtown area spans 26 blocks and is home to many buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the buildings date back to the 1900s and have been preserved to hold their original beauty. Two four-story hotel buildings are located in the area along with other buildings designed by prominent architects. There are also a host of other historical monuments located throughout the city to take you on a trip back in time.
