Missouri State Fair
For an unforgettable experience, visit the Missouri State Fair. The fair is the largest in the state and has plenty for you to see and do. Be sure to visit the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art for an unbelievable experience. The museum is home to both modern and contemporary works that have been produced since the mid-20th century. This venue was opened in 2002 in order to educate the community through its various exhibits. Paintings, drawings, and sculptures are found in this museum, along with prints and clay works. Special events and programs are often scheduled to enhance your visit. When you want to learn different techniques, the museum offers classes on a regular basis.
Parks and Recreation
There are plenty of outdoor activities to experience in Sedalia. Katy Trail is beautiful area where you can spend the day biking or walking. While on the trail, enjoy amazing Missouri River bluffers and peaceful communities scattered along the way. Sedalia is also home to several city parks, including Centennial Park. This park was opened in 1960 and spans over 39 acres. An outdoor sports complex makes its home in the park, making it an idea; destination for sports enthusiasts. In addition, fun playgrounds are on hand to entertain the kids all day long.
