Does Seaside have any famous museums or exhibitions?
Although Seaside isn't home to any famous museums, nearby Monterey is. Perhaps the most famous is the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which offers visitors nearly 200 award-winning galleries and exhibits relating to the ocean. With a focus on the art of California, the Monterey Museum of Art features rotating exhibits and permanent collections. Other museums in Monterey include the Steinbeck Wax Museum and the Monterey History and Maritime Museum. Pacific Grove, just past Monterey to the northwest, is home to the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History.

Where are some of the best places for dining out in Seaside?
There are two main streets for dining out in Seaside. The first, Del Monte Blvd, has options such as Phat Burger and Jose's Mexican Food, and Chili's Grill and Bar just off of it. The second, Fremont Blvd, has the Breakfast Club, Fishwife Seafood Cafe, Domino's Pizza, and City Diner, along with two places just off of it: Baan Thai Restaurant and Stammtisch Restaurant for German food. Closer to the water is Jersey's Original Subs, a sandwich shop.
