Saint Charles Heritag
Locals can learn everything they will ever want to know about Saint Charles at the Saint Charles Heritage Center. Located in the old McCornack Oil Company building, the center dedicates itself to preserving and showcasing the history of Saint Charles. The center has permanent and temporary exhibits on display as well as extensive photo and research archives available in the Colonial Anderson Research Room. Exhibits cover exciting periods in the history of Saint Charles, like the Civil War and the "Roaring ‘20s.” The center also puts on a variety of events to help educate the community about the history of the town.
Fox Valley Concert Ba
Saint Charles locals do not need to vacate town to hear good music thanks to the Fox Valley Concert Band. The band is a nonprofit full concert band, with the mission of helping local musicians grow in skill by giving them an opportunity to play professionally. The band is all-volunteer with the exception of a paid musical director. Due to the band, Saint Charles plays host to excellent music year-round as the band plays concerts at every turn of the seasons, and to mark many holidays and occasions. The band can also be hired to perform at events.
