The Wet Zone

During the late spring and summer months, the Wet Zone is arguably the best way to beat the Texan heat in Rowlett. It is a large aquatic center with facilities for both serious swimmers and those just looking to have a fun wet time. Kids love the multiple water slides and play structures scattered around and the splash pad is always a popular attraction which features many water cannons for the ultimate water fight. The Wet Zone also offers swimming lessons for youngsters and a competitive swim team, The Predators, make their home at the water park.

Going Out in Rowlett

Residents of Rowlett do not need to brave the traffic and crowds in Dallas for a good night out on the weekends, as there are a number of bars and restaurants right in town that will quench any thirst for beer or excitement. The Ramblin' Rose is a local favorite, with cheap strong drinks, good hot wings, and karaoke on the weekends. On any given Friday or Saturday night, the bar will be filled with patrons young and old. To contrast, the Track Grill and Bar is one of the area's best sports bars, with plenty of big screen TVs, tasty pub munchies, and a dedicated population of regulars.
