The Van Saun County Park located just on the western edge of town, has tennis courts, walking trails, picnic areas, a fishing pond, and a number of sports fields. Kids (or the young at heart) can enjoy taking a ride on the carousel or on a real pony if they've brought along a few extra dollars. The banks of the Hackensack River are also great places for residents to go if they're hoping to catch a few fish for dinner. Even if the fish aren't biting, the river's edge still offers renters the opportunity to meet a few cool people in River Edge.
