Reseda, CA

show info

Reseda is a district in the city of Los Angeles, located in the San Gabriel Valley and far enough from L.A.'s busy downtown district to offer a bit of suburban life. Many people move to this part of L.A. in part to escape the crowded streets and highways and in part to enjoy the town's easy access to open spaces, parks, and beaches. If you move into Reseda, you will find plenty to do in town. Choose from leisure options like movie theaters, restaurants, parks, and nightclubs. While there is always something going on in or around town, Reseda is quieter than many other parts of the L.A. area. If you want a peaceful place to live close to a big city, Reseda is a prime choice.

Fun Down the Freeway

Tom Petty may have had a freeway running through his yard when he lived in Reseda, but most residents find themselves living on quiet, safe streets rather than pressed right up against the 405. A short drive to this famous freeway will bring you to the rest of L.A. where you can enjoy a variety of different activities. Taking the freeway to the other side of the Hollywood Hills will bring residents to the city of Beverly Hills. Pop into town to visit the famous Rodeo Drive, a shopping district that rivals the top end shopping experiences in London, Paris, and New York.

And I'm Free

L.A. is not an inexpensive city to live in, but thankfully there is plenty to do that will cost you absolutely nothing. That's right, you can find something new and exciting to enjoy every single weekend without spending money like a movie star. Of course, the open spaces and beaches all have free access (and there are dozens of parks and open spaces right around Reseda), but there are also concerts, museums, theaters, and show tapings you can enjoy in downtown Los Angeles without paying a dime. Enjoy some time at the Santa Monica pier or taking in the sights at Venice Beach.
