Point Vicente Lightho

Most people do not believe in ghosts, but it does not stop them from having their curiosity piqued when they hear a particularly harrowing tale of beyond the grave. Rancho Palos Verdes is home to one such anomaly. The Point Vicente Lighthouse, which in itself is a national historic landmark as well as a beautiful vista, is also famous because of its haunted inhabitant. She is known as the Lady of the Night, and can often be spotted on foggy nights as the ocean mist rolls in from the Pacific.

Palos Verdes Nature P

When you have such beautiful views and scenic terrain, such as those in Rancho Palos Verdes, it is a priority to keep it preserved and maintained for future generations to enjoy. Luckily, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is on the job, and they have acquired two square miles along this coast to set up a nature preserve for all to enjoy. It is the largest such preserve of coastal space north of San Diego, and south of Santa Barbara, and perfect for beach strolls, nature hikes, or just enjoying the sunset on a gorgeous afternoon.
