This walk is the perfect way for visitors to explore downtown Punta Gorda and residents to support local artists and businesses. This event takes place on the third Thursday of each month, so come out to see the local artists display their works on the sidewalks and check out the local shops as they stay open past their normal hours. Stick around after the Gallery Walk is over, and enjoy a meal at one of the local participating restaurants as well.

Wine & Jazz Fest

If sipping on wine and enjoying live music while sitting along the banks of the beautiful Peace River sounds like a perfect evening, then Punta Gorda's annual Wine and Jazz Festival is the place for you. This festival takes place each February at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda, featuring the area's best jazz artists and wine from local wineries. Each ticket to the event includes beverage tickets and access to the live concerts. All food at the festival is by very best local restaurants and costs only $5 per plate. With more and more offered each year, make sure to get your ticket early.
