Put the "Life" in Nig
You will not miss any of your favorite weekend night fun living in Pleasant Hill. On the contrary; you will probably discover new adventures. Seeing your favorite bands perform live only takes a short trip to nearby Concord and the Sleep Train Pavilion. If you prefer to be the one on stage, visit one of the neighborhood karaoke bars. Dance the night away at a club playing the latest hits. There are all the traditional bars you could ask for, too, with cold drinks and hot music. Challenge someone to a game of pool or just sit and soak up the atmosphere.
Sweet Bakery to Savor
Dining out in Pleasant Hill means having a delicious meal with just about any kind of cuisine you can think of. Crispy orange chicken and flavorful fried rice at Ming’s is some of the best Chinese food you will find in the city. When barbeque is what you want, Slow Hand BBQ gives you a plate piled high with succulent, tender meat and all the trimmings. The Corner Bakery Cafe can satisfy both sweet and savory cravings. Try their fresh mozzarella and tomato sandwich on multigrain bread for a satisfying lunch, and sink your teeth into fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
