Overland Parks

Wild Acres Park is nestled inside the city of Overland and features beautiful landscaping and a peaceful atmosphere. The 2.5-acre park is home to a spring fed lake, a wilderness refuge, and a variety of walking trails. This park is a wonderful option if you want a place to relax and enjoy what nature has to offer. Norman Meyers Park spans over seven acres and features two baseball fields, playground areas, and restroom facilities. Pavilions and picnic areas can also be enjoyed at this luxurious park, as well as a walking and running track to get in a little exercise.

Farmer's Market

Overland has a strong sense of community and this is reflected in the events that take place in the city. The local Farmer’s Market allows you to engage with your neighbors and purchase locally grown items. Held each Saturday from May to October, the market is a great place to find fresh produce, meats, and baked goods. Local artisans also set up to share their handcrafted items. Special events, such as live music and children’s activities, also entertain during the festivities. If you wish to sell your own products, you can sign up to rent a booth at this market.
