Olive Branch Parks

Stop by one of the parks in the area to enjoy a day spent outdoors in the fresh air. Southridge Community Park covers 19 acres and borders Lick Creek. The park features a large play area completed with rubberized surfacing so you can be assured of your kids' safety. Walking trails, picnic areas, and a baseball practice place are also part of the beautiful park. Magnolia Community Park offers fun in the sun and features a multipurpose trail, playground areas, and picnic tables. Large open areas are also found within this park so you can run and play freely.

Wesson House

A visit to the Wesson House should be on your list of places to visit if you enjoy learning the history of the area. Ben F. Wesson built the grand house in the late 1800s. In the 1990s, the house was restored to its original glory and continues to be a major part of Olive Branches historical roots. Tours of the house are offered on a regular basis and museum exhibits are set up for you to enjoy. During the different holiday seasons, the house is transformed with various themes, while special programs take place.

Olive Branch Farmers

Each Friday from May through October, the Olive Branch Farmers Market takes place. The market is held to encourage community involvement and to promote local businesses. Vendors are set up throughout the venue so that you can purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables. Baked goods, jams, and other handmade items are also up for sale. At various times from spring till fall you can find live entertainment, educational seminars, and children’s activities. The Farmers Market offers a chance to get together with the community and see what homemade goods your neighbors have to offer.
