It features four distinct seasons: hot, humid summers, cool winters, and relatively mild springs and autumns. The average high temperature in July, the hottest month, is 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The average low in January, the coldest month, is 27 degrees Fahrenheit. Snow falls occasionally in the winter months.
