Norwood Days

To see the town as its finest, be sure to visit Norwood Days each year. The event takes place in September and provides a community experience to remember. Local businesses support the event and activities for both young and old. Live local entertainment will satisfy your musical side while sidewalk sales allow you to browse arts and crafts for sale. Kiddie rides, games, and clowns are available for the kids and food can be purchased to help complete your day filled with fun. Rock climbing and racing are available as well.

Norwood High

Educating its citizens is important to Norwood and the schools located here reflect that desire. With a high school, middle, and elementary school, there are opportunities to learn for all age groups. The high school has a vast sports program that includes soccer, ice hockey, tennis, and more. The school’s music department is strong and is considered to be one of the finest. The Jazz Department won the 2000 national high school championship. Secondary education is also offered in Norwood with the presence of the Universal Technical Institute and the Fine Mortuary College.
