Is Northville famous for any kind of restaurant or food in particular? What's the local favorite?
Northville isn't known for any one food in particular. Downtown Northville has a slew of restaurants and many different types of cuisines, from Japanese to Italian to a steak house. Sizzling Sticks and Rocky's are both popular with the locals. Nearby Detroit is known for its square deep dish pizza, as well as being the birthplace of sliders.

What do people in Northville do as far as outdoor recreation?
Home to many parks and lakes, opportunities for outdoor recreation abound in Northville. The largest park within the city limits is Maybury State Park, which offers hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and paved and offroad biking in the summer months, as well as cross-country skiing in the winter. The ITC Community Sports Park is just north of Maybury State Park and features soccer and baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, hiking trails, and playgrounds. With a plethora of courses, golf is also a popular pastime in Northville.
