Distinctive Historic

North Miami Beach is home to some unusual and beautiful landmarks. The St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church is a genuine Medieval Spanish monastery built in the 12th century. Reassembled in Florida stone by stone following its dismantling and shipment, the monastery remains one of the jewels of the city. Another hallmark sight in the city is the Fulford-By-The-Sea Monument. This historic fountain was one of the largest in the state during the 1920s. Sadly, the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 prevented more fountains from being constructed, but this lovely monument lives on. These two structures offer a magnificent look into early North Miami Beach history.

Ocean Breeze Adventur

You will never need to wonder what there is to do outdoors in this city. For starters, you can go sportfishing on a chartered fishing trip. Find out how many different fish you can catch in a few hours along with the guidance of seasoned professionals. If you want a little more adrenaline in your outdoor excursions, try some kayaking or mountain biking. It is quite possible that you will see a manatee, the sea mammal that delights children and adults alike, on your trip. Of course, there is also all the lazing and swimming at the beach you can ask for here, too.

Save Time for Shoppin
