The tickets aren't cheap, but renters should definitely budget for this event when it comes around because the turnout (both from the city's residents and the city's fantastic restaurants) makes it well worthwhile. Renters can mingle around with neighbors and eat their fill of gourmet dishes prepared by many of the city's best restaurants. The proceeds earned by this celebration benefit the city's youth organization, so the money spent doesn't just go to getting yourself some good eats, it also goes towards helping keep kids off the streets. The rest of the year, foodies who move to North Andover can enjoy dining at dozens of restaurants in the area which represent American cuisine as well as cuisine from around the world.

Out and About around North Andover

Though it's possible for residents of North Andover to head down to the Massachusetts or Ipswich Bays for the day, there are a couple of lakes nearby that make spending a day at the beach a snap. Steven's Pond, on the east side of town, is a safe place to bring the kids for a day of playing in the sand and swimming in the cold, calm water. The pond is an offshoot of the larger Lake Cochichewick. Renters from North Andover can stroll along the lake (though they can't swim or fish in it because it's used as a reservoir). Climbing to the top of Weir Hill is a fantastic day hike and has great views of the area.

Meeting the Neighbors

The North Andover Youth and Recreation Services organizes sports teams, classes and events all year for the people who live in this town. While the majority of these services are aimed at kids and teens, there are some events just for adults as well.
