The Kirk Players

Mundelein locals are no strangers to the arts thanks to the Kirk Players, a local dramatic group. Founded by John W. Lynn, the players have been going strong for more than 40 years, and are members of multiple theatrical organizations, including the Illinois Theatre Association and the American Association of Community Theatre. All money made by the group's productions goes back into community art and arts programs. The group also helps administer the John W. Lynn Performing Arts Scholarship, a scholarship for local high school students who want to pursue an education in the performing arts.
