Paws Farm Nature Cent
The Paws Farm Nature Center is owned and operated by the Township of Mount Laurel, making it an affordable public resource for animal lovers in town. The center is geared toward youthful visitors and offers classes and activities for kids ages 3-8. Animal residents of this nature park range from the cuddly to the scaly, with birds, reptiles, fish, and mammals all on display. If your kid is an animal lover, you may want to consider hosting his or her birthday here or even getting a Paws Farm membership for regular visits and free nature classes.
Alice Paul, a leading American Suffragist in the early 1900s, is one of Mount Laurel's most famous and influential past residents. Though her education and work would take her to many different parts of the country, she was born in 1885 at her family home of Paulsdale in Mount Laurel, and she died not too far away in a neighboring New Jersey town. Today, Paulsdale is a museum dedicated to Alice's work as an early pioneer in the women's rights movement. The Alice Paul Institute owns and operates this museum, which has been restored to the condition it was in when she lived there.
CoCo Key Indoor Water
Summer in New Jersey can get very hot and humid, which provides a stark contrast to its potentially harsh winters. Luckily for Mount Laurel residents who love water parks, CoCo Key is an all-indoor park with tons of slides, rides, and attractions that are available all year round. Though the park's summer hours are more extensive than the winter hours, it is pretty amazing that there is a water park in New Jersey that is open at all during the wintertime considering how cold and snowy it can get during that season.
