Though Moultrie is not located right on the coast, it is considered part of the coastal plain area, meaning its flora and fauna are different from what you might find in northern Georgia. Reed Bingham State Park is a great place to see the area's natural landscape, with much of the native plant community thriving in the park. You can also see wild animals here, including alligators and bald eagles. Once you get your fill of the scenery, there is plenty to do at Reed Bingham State Park, including camping, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, geocaching, and boating.
