Lots to Do and See at
Though Moultrie is not located right on the coast, it is considered part of the coastal plain area, meaning its flora and fauna are different from what you might find in northern Georgia. Reed Bingham State Park is a great place to see the area's natural landscape, with much of the native plant community thriving in the park. You can also see wild animals here, including alligators and bald eagles. Once you get your fill of the scenery, there is plenty to do at Reed Bingham State Park, including camping, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, geocaching, and boating.
Moultrie's Many Festi
If you like community gatherings and seasonal festivals, Moultrie is a great place to be all year round. This city likes to celebrate, and it has the festival calendar to prove it. Almost any month of the year, you can find a public celebration of some kind going on in Moultrie. These gatherings range from the business-focused, like the Sunbelt Agricultural Exhibition, to the quirky, like the 100 Mile Peanut Pickin' Yard Sale, which takes place across several cities in the region, including Moultrie. Other events, like fishing rodeos and holiday celebrations, round out this community's annual events calendar.
