Enjoy the Peaks and V

In Midvale, one need not journey to a resort to enjoy the great outdoors. The numerous parks provide a place for families or friends enjoy some fun. Push the kids on the swing, play basketball with the boys, or get the whole family involved in a game of volleyball on a warm summer day. Minutes for virtually any park are golf courses, such as the Murray Parkway Golf Course, that offer 18 holes, lessons, leagues, and more. For the kids, some courses offer putt-putt while still others offer clubhouses and special events. Festivals and other events also draw folks outside when living in Midvale.

Midvale Arts

The Midvale City Art Council serves the sole purpose of putting on various events dedicated to the arts. This includes the free concert series that runs every third Friday, with music, theater, or other presentations. Some events appear in the local parks, such as “The Sound of Music” previously offered in the Midvale City Park Amphitheater. Others may be at local venues with the exact venues changing throughout the year. Individual looking to put on events are encouraged to engage the city for such events as the council truly tries to turn the love of arts into a community affair.
