Located at the beautiful Bedwell Bayfront Park directly on San Francisco Bay, there is no better place to spend a day outdoors making memories with your friends and family than at Menlo Park's annual Kite Day. The event takes place on one Saturday each April, when people from all over the area come to fly a kite from one of the park's small peaks. Named the 17th Most Influential Church in the U.S. in 2007, the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church (MPPC) is an important cornerstone in the community. With over 4,000 members, it is a very popular church as well. MPPC has a history that dates back to 1873, the year it was first organized. However, the church's currently location at 950 Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park was built in 1950, and it now has two other locations in the Bay Area as well. Across these three locations, MPCC offers a total of 11 services each week.
