Roses and Athletics a

Spending the day at the park is an experience for the locals of McKeesport thanks to the Renziehausen Park Rose Garden and Arboretum. With 258 acres of scenic beauty, your eyes will feast on what nature has to offer. Enjoy the baseball field, fishing areas, tennis courts, picnic pavilions, a bandshell, and trails for walking or hiking. A day at Renziehausen in the spring means viewing over 1,200 different rose bushes that give plenty of photo opportunities. So, pack a lunch, grab your family, and head to the roses gardens for a day of fun in the sun.

Annual Festival of Tr

McKeesport plays host to the Annual Festival of Trees each year. The festival takes place through the entire first week in December, offering locals a variety of entertainment options as they come out for a good cause. Feeding the hungry in the community is something residents are passionate about and the festival brings neighbors together for just that. Adults pay a small fee to attend, while children enter for free with canned goods. Here you can enjoy a host of winter activities, including sleigh rides and pictures with Santa, as well as some good food and daily entertainment.

Summer Music Under th

Summer in McKeesport brings on the start of the Summer Concert Series. Each year, Renziehausen Park plays host to a variety of spectacular performances produced by local organizations showing off unearthed talent from within the community. The concert series is free, which gives locals a perfectly affordable way to get out and socialize with music in the background. Local acts take turns throughout the season to bring song and dance to the community. Gather your favorite blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers for an evening of entertainment and maybe a picnic under the stars.
