Martinsburg Mall

Spend a full day shopping at Martinsburg Mall. The mall contains over 50 retailers including larger outfits such as Walmart and JCPenney. Restaurants and fast food establishments are located within the mall as well so you can enjoy a hot meal after a long day of shopping. If you just enjoy strolling through the mall, you can join the Mall Walking Club. This club encourages physical activity and walking around the mall three times equals two months of exercise. Martinsburg Mall provides a great variety that encourages people to spend a whole day here.

County Museum

Take a trip back in time with a visit to the Berkeley County Museum. The museum was established in 1992 when the building was facing demolition. A variety of exhibits are on display at the house, all of which are centered around the town’s history. The Belle Boyd House, built in the 1850s, is part of the museum. One main feature the house offers is a beautiful ballroom designed to replicate the Victorian era. Meeting and special events often take place at this house, as it can be rented by the public.

Eastern Panhandle Tra

The Eastern Panhandle Recreational Trail will provide you with a great place to spend some outdoor time. The trail is a 127-mile loop that runs through not only Martinsburg, but the neighboring areas of Shepherdstown and Charles Town. Walkers and bikers can both take advantage of the trail, which has several stops along the way. Several parks are located in different parts of the trail and each has varying amenities to offer as an added convenience. Taking advantage of the trail is perfect way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area.
