County Museum

Take a trip back in time with a visit to the Berkeley County Museum. The museum was established in 1992 when the building was facing demolition. A variety of exhibits are on display at the house, all of which are centered around the town’s history. The Belle Boyd House, built in the 1850s, is part of the museum. One main feature the house offers is a beautiful ballroom designed to replicate the Victorian era. Meeting and special events often take place at this house, as it can be rented by the public.

Eastern Panhandle Tra

The Eastern Panhandle Recreational Trail will provide you with a great place to spend some outdoor time. The trail is a 127-mile loop that runs through not only Martinsburg, but the neighboring areas of Shepherdstown and Charles Town.
