About Lynnwood, WA
Lynnwood, a community-driven town, is quietly nestled in the southwestern part of Washington. Home to more than 35,000 people, the population density is high. This does not take away from the appeal of the city, however. It simply means one must enjoy the presence of their neighbors more, and have a sociable personality. Of course, the city supports this social behavior by holding events such as the Nightwaves Teen Night and Pool Party and various softball leagues.

College Advancement

Local colleges and universities offer top-notch educational opportunities. Among these are Central Washington State and Edmonds Community College. CWS offers the full gamut of degrees from business to medical to liberal arts, with students able to pursue up to a master's degree in any given field. Add to that the sports opportunities and on-campus living, and a student has everything he or she needs to experience the college lifestyle. ECC is a local community college offering off-campus living and reduced tuition. The savings for the student compared to an on-campus degree at a larger college can be great.
