A Town Full of Americ

The city of Lynchburg is a modern town, but that hides the deep patriotic roots that lie here. Former President Thomas Jefferson's retreat home Poplar Forest is located here, and offers a look into the private life of this great man. Not far from here is the former mansion of Dr. George Cabell Sr., who was the friend of Patrick Henry. This historical landmark, known as Point of Honor, stands proud today for visitors to enjoy a trip to the past. Also located here are the Lynchburg Museum, The Old Court House, and the Miller-Clayton House.
