Robeson County Histor

The history buffs in your life will love checking out the Robeson County History Museum. Around since 1986, this organization hopes to preserve the rich tradition of Robeson County for future generations to come. Your history lesson starts in the building itself, an old railway express station that goes back to the early 1900s. On display are various artifacts from the area’s history, including exhibits showing the agricultural, military, cultural, and transportation aspects of Robeson County. Permanent exhibits include a showing of a World War II-era bedroom, a slice of everyday historic life, and a showing of the natural resources of the county.
